Maintenance Staff

"Ka Tex" has been in De La Salle Lipa for a decade, serving as Maintenance Staff. He has been assigned to clean various areas in the campus. He works forty hours a week, devoting seven hours on Mondays, Wednesdays,Fridays and five hours on Saturdays to honest and dedicated service to the Lasallian community. “Masaya ako,” is Mr. Malapitan’s answer when asked what made him stay in De La Salle Lipa for ten years. “Napamahal na ako sa La Salle,” he added with a trace of nostalgic smile on his face. He also relates that in all those years he has served La Salle, one thing that he will
never forget is his interaction with Lasallians, most especially with the children. “Yung kakulitan ng mga bata,” he recounts, is something he finds impossible to forget. It is people like “Ka Tex” who make sure that the campus remains clean. Indeed, when we see them at work, we see not only the cleanliness of our school grounds but also the purity of their service and their devotion to De La Salle Lipa. Mr. Malapitan is married and has three children. He is presently assigned as Maintenance Staff for the Sentrum.
